They say it takes at least a quarter to get the truth out of a gentleman. But , when it comes to purple haze (PH), this belief seems to get hazy !! Cuz, whether u r drunk or not u always tell the truth about PH that it is the BEST PUB not in just in town but in the whole country. U oughtta’ trust my word. Cuz we the true drunkards err…citizens of Pub City never care a damn for fakes… So obviously the pub most liked by the Pub city dwellers IS the best pub of the nation.
U know when there was this fierce battle b/n B’lore and Hyd’bad for the coveted “IT capital “ tag, we used to ridicule Hyd’badi’s saying u can take the IT away but u can never have a place like this anywhere ! And many of my friends from as far away as Kolkota, Mumbai have confided in those high-octane hours, while Bon Jovi is roaring, that PH is the place. And many of firends from otehr cities are so jealous that they can’t stop speaking bad baout this place !!
But plz. Don’t ever mistake this place for those sissy coochi’cooing places frequented by teeny boppers to shake their bum over a J’Lo or a Britney, while dozing of for a pint! PH is THE pub.. the music is roaring..if u cant stand rock..just don’t get in here for this is no place for sissies …oh how I miss this superb hangout !!!
I don’t mind even if some other city takes IT from B’lore. But I am off to a better off place the moment liquor fountain stops at PH.
Heck! I miss this place like hell. How I wish those guyz had a franchise out here in Hong Kong !!!
